The renovation purpose was to future proof adaptive living on 1 of 3 floors in the home. We leveled up a split-level area and brought it up to the main floor height, to allow for an accessible bedroom, washroom, laundry facility connecting it to the existing kitchen, living room, dinning area, and rear deck. We also added a new ERV system to help with much improved air quality and home automation controls to improve safety, comfort, and accessibility.
